THE CHALLENGE

Snow Companies has been telling patients’ stories for over 20 years. It started in our founders attic and has now grown to one of the largest Pharmaceutical marketing and patient outreach agencies in the world. Before farmerswife we used a mix of Microsoft excel spreadsheets, project managements software, outlook calendars, and a few whiteboards around the office!

The old way of working just wasn’t cutting it. We started missing stuff. People, edit suites, equipment, things started getting double booked and mistakes in scheduling starting happening more often. It was also talking a large amount of time to manage all this. We also found that production, post-production, and the camera department were operating in silos, and didn’t have transparency into what the other departments where doing.

THE SOLUTION

We are going on year 3 of farmerswife and it has transformed our video production division. We manage nearly all resources through the platform. We schedule productions, and assign camera packages and equipment to each production. We use it to manage what inhouse staff will be going and we also manage all vendors and contractors through farmerswife and assign them to productions as they come up.

We use farmerswife to track and manage our large inventory of items in the camera department and also G&E. I love how you can group items up into gear packages and assign large gear packages to shoots. Saves so much time. farmerswife also generates physical check-in and out sheets for each production to help the crews pack. We also use farmerswife to book editors on projects and manage their time. I love how so much of is customizable, we have unique fields we needed for several sections, and it was no problem to create those.

THE SUPPORT

The support team is amazing. In fact, early on, there was a feature we really needed, that farmerswife didn’t currently have. After a few phone calls/emails, and some development time, the feature was rolled out to our farmerswife! Talk about service!
